55,016 fans were treated to a fine game at the ballpark as only one run
separated the combatants at game's end.  The SSB SSB Tar Heels won by the
slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.

The score was tied at 3 after nine.  SSB came out the victor in the 12th
inning.  After an out was recorded, Bobby Abreu smashed a solo-shot out of
the park (his 22nd of the season) making SSB the victor and beginning a
joyous home town celebration.  SSB had a total of 12 hits for the game.

Noah Lowry(5-2) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Travis
Harper(0-5) took the loss in relief.  With this win, SSB has a division
leading 74-41 record.  They have been 7-3 lately.  With the loss Santa Fe now
has a record of 72-43.
